Jackson Rathbone Talks 'New Moon'

"Twilight" star Jackson Rathbone spoke to Extra on the set of "Criminal Minds" as he filmed his guest appearance on the hit TV show.
The revealing interview was live and almost 800 fans submitted their questions to the star.
From New Moon secrets to details about his next movie with Slumdog star, Rathbone revealed, “I do not have a girlfriend. I’m single at the moment. I don’t really have time.”
He continued, “Usually I’m attracted to girls who are probably a little too headstrong…I like girls that are a little crazy, I have to admit….I get set up by friends and my manager sets me up on dates a lot.”

'90210' AnnaLynne McCord to play Heidi in 'New Moon'?

Another identifiable face -- that of a “90210” star -- may soon be entering the “Twilight” zone.
So much for finding fresh exciting new talent, eh?
E! Gossip Hound Marc Malkin reports exclusively that filmmakers are considering casting "90210" star AnnaLynne McCord as Heidi in the upcoming "New Moon.”
But her part -- that of a seductive “fisher” who brings humans to the Volturi to feed on -- isn’t large, so don’t freak out and go all OH NO, SHE CAN’T! on us.
According to E!, McCord has auditioned for the role.
At least, she’d have company on the set. Her "90210" costar Kellan Lutz -- and her rumored real life BF -- plays Emmett in "Twilight" and will also be in “New Moon." Coincidence? What do you think?
No confirmation from reps or from Summit Entertainment. Yet.

Vanessa Hudgens Not Likely For ‘New Moon’

Is Vanessa Hudgens Getting Eclipsed?: In what might be welcome news to Twi-hards and Fanpires out there (or, horrible news for “HSM” devotees), Vanessa Hudgens is not going to be making an appearance in “New Moon,” as the character Leah - at least not yet. “I’m not sure about [final] casting but I had heard Vanessa Hudgens was going up for the part of Leah [Clearwater, a werewolf],” screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who wrote both films, told People at the 61st Annual Directors Guild of America Awards in Los Angeles Saturday night. “But at the moment, the part of Leah doesn’t happen until the third movie.” So, it could be awhile before fans get to see Vanessa go “Teen Wolf” - that is, if it happens at all.

Fans Expected To Camp Out For Twilight

Actor Edi Gathegi, one of the vampires in Summit Entertainment's hit Twilight, knows what he'll be doing Friday night, March 20.
"I'm gonna be there at midnight with everyone else waiting for the DVD," Gathegi said at Summit's Push premiere party Jan. 29. "We're gonna make it an old-fashioned slumber party … I think it's genius what Summit is doing. A large part of our audience is teenagers, and every one of them will be there."
In a nod to those repeat, young, female viewers who helped Twilight bring in $185 million at the domestic box office ($324 million worldwide), Summit will be making an event out of its DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases of the film, with midnight release parties nationwide.
"There wasn't a lot in the way of history to compare with on how Twilight would perform at the box office," said Steve Nickerson, president of Summit Home Entertainment, pointing to Mean Girls and Sex and the City as the only comparable gauges. "With the DVD, we knew if we stuck with a Tuesday we knew there were going to be fans who couldn't get it right when it was available. We said we had to do a Saturday (March 21) release date."

It's true! Rob mowed off his mop back in December and at last night's premiere of "Push," R. Pat's "Twilight" co-star Rachelle LeFevre said she still can get over the hair loss! "What I'm wondering is what he's going to do now because he runs his fingers through it all the time," she said. "What's he going do with his hands?!"

Film industry watchers say casting underway in B.C. for Twilight fantasy sequel
INTERESTED IN THE JOB?Casting is underway in B.C. for roles in the sequel to teen vampire flick Twilight, scheduled to shoot in Vancouver this spring.
Aikins/Cossey is seeking actors between 15 and 25 years of age in three B.C. casting calls in Vancouver, Victoria and Kelowna.
Candidates will receive scripts and be asked return the same day to read for a part.
Victoria: Feb. 7, Paul's Motor Inn, 1900 Douglas St., 9 a.m. to noon
Vancouver: Feb.8, Second Avenue Studios, 225 W. 2nd Ave., 9 a.m. to noon
Kelowna: Feb. 8, Delta Grand Okanagan, 1310 Water St., 9 a.m. to noon

'Twilight' Hottie Sinks Teeth Into 'Criminal Minds' Role

Someone better make room on the crowded Twilight bandwagon, 'cause Criminal Minds is jumping on.
The CBS procedural has tapped Jackson Rathbone -- a.k.a. Twilight vamp Jasper Hale -- to guest star in an upcoming episode directed by Seinfeld's Jason Alexander.
Rathbone will play a college student on spring break who may or may not be the target of a serial killer.
His episode is slated to air in April.

'Twilight' stars, Dakota Fanning talk 'New Moon'

Summit Entertainment's newest film, Push -- starring Dakota Fanning (pictured) -- may have been the main event at its premiere last night in Los Angeles. But the studio still trotted out several Twilight actors to walk the red carpet, and the upcoming sequel New Moon was definitely on everyone's mind -- including whether Fanning would slip on evil Jane's fangs. "Dakota Fanning would be great as Jane," said Ashley Green (goodie vamp Alice Cullen). "I really hope that rumor becomes reality." Fanning, however, said she wasn't quite ready to bite. "I think it is too soon to say for sure whether I will or won't be in [New Moon]," she told EW.com. "But it would be really cool to do it. I am a very big fan of the books. I read them all and Jane is an interesting part. We haven't really sat down and talked about it. So we will see. It was a good experience working with Summit. I guess I now have an in at the company."

‘Twilight’ stars spill ‘New Moon’ details

‘I can tell you there’s a yellow Porsche,’ Ashley Greene confirms
Good news for Twi-hards; judging by the tips “Twilight” stars Ashley Greene and Kellen Lutz shared with Access Hollywood about “New Moon” on Thursday night, it sounds like the second installment in the series will remain faithful to Stephenie Meyer’s book.
“I can tell you there’s a yellow Porsche,” Greene revealed at the premiere of Dakota Fanning’s “Push,” confirming that the vehicle, which plays a special role in the “New Moon” book, will be in the movie.
“I can tell you there’s werewolves,” she added coyly. “I think (the details of ‘New Moon’ script are) kind of highly under wraps.”
Greene, who plays Alice Cullen, the sister of Edward Cullen, Robert Pattinson’s character, is expected to return alongside Lutz, who plays older brother Emmett Cullen.
“We are both confirmed to be a part of it,” he said before retracting only slightly. “I’m still waiting - crossing fingers.”
