'Twilight' Star Cam Gigandet Recalls High School Graduation

MTV spoke to Cam Gigandet, Leighton Meester, Steve-O about what they recall about their own high school graduation. Here's the snippet that included Cam:

And although "Twilight" star Cam Gigandet didn't have anything momentous or unusual happen to him when he graduated, the man voted "Best Dressed" by his classmates does admit that by the time graduation rolled around, he was over it. "I was so ready to move on that I just stuck my head down and all I could focus on was the end," he said. "Towards the end, I'm not sure if I had any friends either."

But he is almost certain of one thing about his look back then: "I think I had hair down to here," he said, pointing below his ears. "I have my 10-year reunion coming up, so I'll ask them."

Gigandet and fellow “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson took home the award for the year’s best brawl, thanks to their vampire-on-vampire tussle in the hit film - marking the second year in a row that Gigandet received the honor.

On FunnyOrDie.com, the 'Twilight' villain campaigns for a second MTV Movie Award for Best Fight.

Cam Gigandet hasn't met a group of rabid "Twilight" fans he can't take in a fight, and he proves it in his new video on FunnyOrDie.com. In the clip, a group of tween girls decide to fight the actor who plays evil vampire James, even though he warns them that they shouldn't take on a man who's won the MTV Movie Award for Best Fight and is nominated again this year.

"This skit that we're shooting today is about a group of 'Twilight' fans who are at a book reading," the actor told MTV News on the set of "Cam Gigandet vs. Twilight Fans." "And they - well, I stumble across them, and they recognize me, and then drama ensues."

The "Twilight" star jokingly added that in real life, he doesn't mind having tweens follow him around wherever he goes. Unlike in the skit, however, he doesn't usually end up getting into epic, bloody battles with them.

"It's great. I love having young girls chase me everywhere I go. ... It's a little bit of validation I guess," he added. "I had no idea 'Twilight' was going to actually be as big as it is. I mean it's shocking. It's kind of awesome that it got as much fame as it did, you know, and all the actors in it had a success. That was kind of great."

Actor's girlfriend gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday.

Cam Gigandet's girlfriend, Dominique Geisendorff, gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday.

"There is no name yet," an insider told In Touch Weekly. "She is perfectly healthy, everyone is doing fine!"

This is first child for the "Twilight" star and his girlfriend. A rep for Gigandet had not responded to MTV News' request for a comment at press time.

"Marriage is definitely in their future," Cam's dad has said about the couple's future together, according to Just Jared. "They won't get married before the baby is born, but Dom will be our daughter-in-law sooner or later. We all love her so much."

‘Twilight’ Baddie Cam Gigandet Will Be Leighton Meester’s ‘Roommate’

There’s only one thing Twilighters love more than “New Moon” updates, and that’s hearing what your favorite “Twilight” actors are up to outside of the vampire franchise - especially if they won’t be returning to Forks, Washington any time soon. Cam Gigandet certainly falls into that category, but happily for fans, he’s continuing to enjoy big screen success. Fresh off “The Unborn,” Gigandet has signed to costar with “Gossip Girls” Leighton Meester in “The Roommate.”

Meester will play Sara, a college who is randomly assigned to a freshman dorm, and stuck with a roommate named Rebecca. Unfortunately, Rebecca just happens to be deranged, and becomes obsessed with Sara, targeting her friends and family. According to Variety, Gigandet will play Meester’s boyfriend, which means he’ll be one of the unlucky targets.

Gigandet To Wed Girlfriend

TWILIGHT star CAM GIGANDET is to wed his pregnant girlfriend, according to the actor's father. Jay Gigandet tells America's In Touch Weekly magazine that his son and Dominique Geisendorff will marry after their baby is born this year (09).

The news ends speculation the on-off couple is no longer together.

Gigandet's father says, "Marriage is definitely in their future. They won't get married before the baby is born, but Dom will be our daughter-in-law sooner or later. We all love her so much."

And Gigandet's dad has hinted his grandchild might be born in Russia.
He adds, "Cam is leaving for Russia... to film Kerosene Cowboys and doesn't know when he'll be back. Dom may have to fly to meet him for the birth."
