Enjoying some hard-earned time off from their “Twilight” franchise, Nikki Reed and Kellan Lutz were spotted at the Express TXT L8TR event last night (July 29).

The “New Moon” costars looked to be having a marvelous time as they hobnobbed with fellow attendees and struck a few poses for the paparazzi.

During a recent interview with Wired Video, Nikki and costar Peter Facinelli chatted candidly about the differences between “Twilight” and “New Moon.”

Miss Reed noted that the whole cast and crew definitely felt “more prepared” the second time around, while Peter joked that the whole series “is like Romeo and Juliet set in a vampire world.”

Kellan Lutz shows off his biking skills as he attends the “OPen Campus” launch party at Mel’s Diner on Tuesday (July 7) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 24-year-old Twilight hunk was there to support close gal pal AnnaLynne McCord, who is a part of this year’s OP Campaign.

Kellan Lutz Spills About New Moon Set

Social Life recently did a photo shoot with Kellan Lutz and model Lydia Hearst - OK! Magazine has some excerpts from the magazine interview:

What is your typical day like on the set of New Moon, the sequel to Twilight?

New Moon was a very relaxed film to work on and it all starts with how easy going director Chris Wietz is. That vibe rolls down to the crew and actors. It makes it so easy when we've all worked together before. Everything was so well organized, making it easy for the actors to do our job. We had more time to just laugh and make jokes and hang out; it's important to have a cast that gels the way we do and you'll see that more in the second film.

The entire cast of Twilight and New Moon has gone from Hollywood new faces to overnight international sensations – has that been a bonding experience for all of you?

It's amazing what Twilight has done for the cast! It has opened up so many doors for us all. It is such a blessing to be a part of the phenomenon that is Twilight. It's a dream come true! We are all very close and stay close on set as well as off. We play board games, go out to dinner and just hang out. It's amazing to be able to work with such a talented group of actors.

Set Sail On A Twilight Cruise!

Now Twilight fans get their chance to set sail with two of their favorite stars, Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene. Here is the scoop:

The inaugural week-long Twilight fan cruise, which will set sail in August 2010 for 3-day/4-night trip departing from Washington. California-based Cruises Cruises Cruises, Inc., is putting together the event, which will include Q & A and autographs sessions with Twilight stars, Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene. Fans will also be treated to other activities including a costume ball, group photo shoot and charity auction.

Rates per person range from $599 and can go up to $3299

New Moon’ Stars Call Security-Heavy Italian Trip ‘Intense’

Even when the first “Twilight” movie started filming, fans from around the world flocked to Oregon to see their favorite book get turned into a flick. So it’s with no surprise that now, with the blockbuster success of “Twilight,” that the sequel also has a fair number of eyes on it.

It was that level of intense fan reactions that caused the cast to beef up security when they traveled to Italy to film pinnacle scenes from “New Moon.” Below, stars Kellen Lutz and Ashley Greene describe the experience from the red carpet of the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.

David Slade On ‘Twilight’ Comments: ‘I Was Being Silly’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Director David Slade is now howling his regrets to the “Twilight” fans.

David, the slated director of the franchise’s third film, “Eclipse,” sent an e-mail to Twilight Lexicon, one of the largest “Twilight” fan sites, after it was revealed on Sunday that had made disparaging comments about the vampire franchise.

“When I made these comments, I had neither seen the film nor read the books. I was promoting a comedy short film that I had made for Xbox and every pop culture subject was seen as a possible comedy target. I was being silly and none of the statements were from the heart,” David explained.

He continued to write, “Of course, I have since seen the movie and read the books and was quickly consumed with the rich storytelling and the beautifully honest characters that Stephenie Meyer created.”

Kellan Lutz: NYLON Stud

He’s one of the hottest young stars in Tinseltown, and last night (May 4) Kellan Lutz was spotted hamming it up with his fans at the NYLON Magazine Young Hollywood Issue Launch Party.

The “Twilight” stud looked to be having a marvelous time as he signed autographs and posed for pictures outside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

In related news, Kellan recently sang the praises of his “New Moon” costar Robert Pattinson while doing an interview with press.

He revealed, “Everytime he picks up guitar, opens that part of his throat and sings ...It’s magical,” adding, “[Robert is] a shy guy...humble. I don’t think anything can get to him really...He’s so talented. I’ve never met someone who can...just do anything and everything!”
