Confirmed! Kristen Stewart Is Totally Team Jacob

One of the big items selling at San Diego Comic-Con this year are these Team Jacob and Team Edward T-shirts, calling out the rivalry between Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner's supernatural Twilight boys. I had a chance to ask Kristen Stewart where she stands, and the answer is pretty clear. Check the clip to see what she says.
Also, she and Taylor offer up New Moon scoop on fans, footage and director Chris Weitz. And costar Ashley Greene has even more dish, after the jump. I'm at Comic-Con all weekend, so keep checking back for updates!

'New Moon' Cast And Director Delight Fans With Footage At Comic-Con

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Chris Weitz take questions from the crowd and preview footage in San Diego.
SAN DIEGO - Just when anticipation for November's release of "New Moon" didn't seem like it could get any higher, the new footage presented by the stars of the film at Comic-Con sent the crowded room of Twilighters into a whole new level of vampire frenzy.
As soon as the "Twilight" portion of Summit Entertainment's panel began, fans started screaming and it didn't stop once director Chris Weitz was joined onstage by Ashley Greene, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson.
The room of mostly female fans erupted into deafening screams when Lautner and Pattinson entered, with dozens of them yelling, "I love you, Rob!" or "I love you, Taylor!"
As the stars were asked about the filming of the movie, Lautner talked about how important his character's various transformations were to the way he approached the role.
"Jacob goes through a lot in this movie - he transforms mentally and emotionally," Lautner explained. "The most challenging for me was physically, so I had a lot of hard work cut out for me after filming 'Twilight.' I worked really hard to transform Jacob's body so I could portray him correctly for all you guys. And I hope you guys are pleased when you see the results."
Pattinson, on the other hand, joked that he didn't have to do a lot of preparation for the scenes where he is a hallucination of Bella's imagination. "Chris and the special-effects team designed a thing that basically allowed me to stand on a green box and look and stay basically expressionless," he laughed.

'Twilight' Stars Dish About 'New Moon' and Fame

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon''s star trio of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner dished about their eagerly anticipated flick at Comic-Con in San Diego, and ET's Thea Andrews was there! Click the video to watch.
"It was actually one of the most relaxing jobs I've ever done," Rob said of reprising his role of vamp Edward Cullen in the sequel, adding jokingly, "All the pressure was on Taylor."
"Sometimes it gets me a little nervous because I'm trying to live up to the fans' expectations," Taylor, aka Jacob Black, admitted. "I don't want to disappoint them."

New Moon Stars Say "No" to Singing and Growling

Crafty vamps! While thousands of Twilight fans camped outside the San Diego Convention Center this morning waiting for today's Comic-Con panel, the stars of the upcoming New Moon staged an off-campus press conference to chat up the cameras.
On the scene were Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, returning to the Con, where last year they caused not quite such a stir with their little vampire-werewolf-moody girl love story.
"[New Moon was] one of the more relaxing jobs I've ever done," R.Pattz dishes on the new flick. "All the pressure was on Taylor."

'New Moon' Stars Still Find Comic-Con 'Terrifying'

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner discuss life in the 'Twilight' spotlight.
SAN DIEGO - Appropriately enough for a movie series about a vampire clan that never sleeps, "Twilight" day at Comic-Con began bright and early. Gathered together at 9:30 a.m. Thursday (July 23) for an invite-only press conference, a small group of reporters took up about a third of the massive ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront hotel, eager to talk fame, fiction and fanpires with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
"This year, I have something to say," Pattinson laughed, remembering that he was overwhelmed to the point of near speechlessness last year. "It's much more terrifying."
"This is a severely emotional movie. ... There are high points for Bella, but she's a manic-depressive basically," Stewart said of her "New Moon" performance. "There was more to think about. It's a more mature part."

'Twilight' Fans Bring 'Trek'-Like Frenzy To Conventions

Their passion is the stuff of legends. If you throw a convention -- or if you're just selling T-shirts related to Stephenie Meyer's best-selling vampire novels, for that matter -- they will descend by the thousands.
"Twilight" lovers were such a force at last year's Comic-Con, Creation Entertainment, the franchise behind "Star Trek" conventions, immediately began putting together plans for fans of the goth-lite love story.
"We saw the reaction that it got, and that this was going to be something really huge; the fans are extremely passionate," said Creation Entertainment CEO Gary Berman.

'Twilight' Fans Already Camped Out 'New Moon' Comic-Con Panel

Last year, eyebrows were raised as diehard "Twilight" fans were found waiting in line for the movie's first Comic-Con appearance as early as 10 PM the night before. This year, with "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" back with the entire cast, that might get you in the first 500 or so. Maybe.
Officially, the first badge holders in line arrived at 12 midnight Wednesday morning. A contingent of San Diego residents staked their claim having planned their escapade during a "strategy luncheon" on Sunday.
"My nephew was here at midnight saving us a spot," one pass holder told HitFix adding she was "relieved" no one had beaten them to the prime spot. All the members of the group are first timers and the number one reason they are waiting in line all night for a presentation that doesn't begin until 1:45 PM the following day? No, not a chance to see rising superstar Robert Pattinson, but his co-star; Taylor Lautner.
"They all hate me for it, but I'm Team Jacob," a teenage member of the crew said.
