How it all started:
It was a culmination of things that brought me putting Dazzling Twilight together. First, of course, it started with the book series. Once finished with the series, I started to discover the world of Twilight on the internet, and of course all the hype for the movie. In November, I had come across a website that was looking for a new host, which made me really sparked my interest and got me thinking. Having maintained a website for approximately 3 years from about 2000-2003, I started to realize how much I missed maintaining a site, especially when it came to creating graphics. I finally opted to jump back on the horse and give maintaining a website another go and let it run its course. Hopefully it pays off!
How I discovered Twilight
First off, I wasn't exposed to the Twilight series until as recently as August 2008. It is supposedly out of my age group being labeled as a "Young Adult" series and therefore none of my friends knew about it either. It wasn't until I was in a bookstore at the end of August that I was near the Children's/Young Adult section of a bookstore that I came across these large, black hard covered books, one of which with a sticker saying it was becoming a movie. While I was waiting around for my friends to finish browsing the bookstore, I sat down and started reading the first chapter. From then on in, I was hooked. The moment I would finish one book, I ran out and bought the other and continued to read. I don't think I've ever read a series so quickly in my entire life.
So why Dazzling Twilight?
So why did this website get created under this name? Well, first off, making a website after the fact of the movie release, creative website names for anything Twilight are few and far between. I had gone back and forth between a couple of names, but what really affirmed my decision for this site being DazzlingTwilight.com is due to one of my favorite parts from the series:
"You really shouldn't do that to people," I criticized. "It's hardly fair.""Do what?"
"Dazzle them like that - she's probably hyperventilating in the kitchen right now."
He seemed confused.
"Oh, come on," I said dubiously. "You have to know the effect you have on people."
He tilted his head to one side, and his eyes were curious. "I dazzle people?"
"You haven't noticed? Do you think everybody gets their way so easily?"

"Frequently," I admitted.
